The Lotus Sutra and Me is a series of personal reflections on the Lotus Sutra. In it, I will share my own personal thoughts, thinking, and feelings on the Lotus Sutra, a Buddhist Scripture. I began my Buddhist ptactice in 1984, and have continued daily since then. Now it's time to share!

George in ThailandA note about how I prepare to write for my blogs: I carry a little notebook with me, and whenever something that I think you'll like or that I simply want to share, I write about it in a new post.
Since several members of my family have asked how I was doing with all the flooding in Thailand, I have posted some observations and three videos. In Meet My New Thai Friend I introduce you to Pramool. Charming!
Twins in a World of Singletons
I haven't made any new postings recently. When I have any new thoughts or feelings or observation on what it means to be a twin, I will post them.

The Lotus Sutra, Reference Material
In these pages, I will provide material I consider helpful as you read my postings. For example,my first entry is a copy of Chapter II of the Lotus Sutra, which along with Chapter XVI, is the source from which my reflections spring. Since my intention in this blog is not didactic (although I do hope readers learn something from my postings), no explanations or referrals to explanations will be provided. There is plenty of material out there in cyberspace. Just let Goggle be your guide!
